Due to its charming location on the
North-East-Shore of the Messinian gulf, the village of Petalidi has
turned into a well-known area for relaxing holidays. In the center
you find a choice of Cafes, Kafenia, Taverns, Supermarkets as well
as a bank with money machine. During High season, quiet Petalidi
turns into a lively place. Petalidi is a good point to start to
explore the different sights in the area, as e.g. Ancient Messene (Ithomi),
the city of Kalamata or the famous Nestor Palace.
